Enigma takes a passion for rock climbing and brings it into the indoor climbing environment. Movement on rock has always been the inspiration for what is developed in the route setting, volumes and hold shaping we offer.

Our passion for rock climbing feeds innovative design.
Rob has decades of experience which has taken him all over the world, climbing on a variety of rock types in a range of styles, from sport climbing and bouldering, to trad and alpine. This has driven his inspiration for the volume manufacturing, routesetting, and hold-shaping Enigma provides.
Rob has been manufacturing plywood volumes for over 20 years. The early days saw a great deal of experimentation in an emerging field, which has been carefully refined into a high quality process, employing CNC manufacturing, bespoke tooling and complex finishing techniques.
Enigma’s hold shaping designs span a variety of products and styles, from fibreglass and polycarbonate macros to contemporary and clean shapes, to rock texture holds.
